Overview

What is Udyog Aadhaar (UAM) Certificate?

A Udyog Aadhaar or UAM (Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum) certificate was India's official MSME registration document issued under the old system from 2015 to 2020. Each registered enterprise received a unique 12-digit UAM number, which served as proof of MSME status for accessing government loans, subsidies, and schemes.

While the system has been replaced by the new Udyam Registration portal (launched July 2020), many enterprises still need their original UAM certificates for reference, bank submissions, or tender applications. This service allows you to request a print or digital copy of your existing UAM certificate.

⚠️
UAM Certificates are Now Obsolete

Udyog Aadhaar certificates have been replaced by Udyam Registration. To keep your MSME benefits active, you must complete Udyam Re-Registration before April 21, 2025. This print service helps you retrieve your old certificate, but migration to Udyam is strongly recommended.

Yes, strongly recommended. All UAM certificates are legally expired and replaced by Udyam Registration. You must complete Udyam Re-Registration before April 21, 2025 to keep your MSME benefits active. Without migration, your MSME status may be deactivated, removing access to loans, subsidies, and government protections.
Yes, completely free. There are no government fees for printing or retrieving your Udyog Aadhaar certificate. This is an assistance service to help you retrieve and print your existing certificate conveniently.
While some banks and agencies may still accept UAM certificates for record purposes, the official MSME proof is now the Udyam Certificate with a URN. For new loan applications, procurement tenders, and government schemes, a valid Udyam Certificate is required. We strongly recommend completing Udyam Re-Registration.
